Christmas birthday party ideas

Christmas birthday party ideasPreparing for a birthday on Christmas or during the holidays? It is easy to decide for the theme of the birthday party when it is on a special event - set the mood of the party according to the event.
If you have to arrange for a Christmas birthday party then here are some tips to make it a rocking event-
Since the house was already decorated for Christmas one does not need to add anything more for the party decorations. At the most, streamers and some balloons can be put on the wall, especially in cases of kid's birthday party. To make something different, one can take photographs of oneself dressed in Santa dress with candy canes and put them in the walls after turning them into poster size. One can put some scented candles which will fill the rooms with nice fragrance.
Play some Christmas carols in the cd player in low volume to create the ambiance of festive season.

The main course of the dinner can include soups, crustless Peanut Butter and Snow (Marshmallow fluff) sandwiches, ham sandwiches, bowls of marshmallows with milk, and white chocolate cover pretzels, hot cocoa and hot apple cidercookies .
If it's going to be some teen or children birthday party, then the other children of the house like the brothers and sisters of the celebrant can be dressed as elves. Presence of Santa is must if it's going to be on the Christmas day or Christmas Eve.

Games can be played to have some more fun in the party. I found few games online like -
Dig in the Snow- This game is really easy to set up. A piece of gum is put at the bottom of a giant platter of whipped cream. One has to find the bubble gum with no hands and blow a bubble, first to do it wins!
Christmas Carol game- There will be 20 clipart images which depicted a well-known Christmas Carol. The guests have to guess each Christmas Carol. The winner of the games can be presented with a nice gift.

Birthday Party on Halloween

Are you still scratching your head for the ideal recipes for the Birthday party of your close one which incidentally falls on the day Halloween. Well, when you have two events on the same day then the best thing is to combine both the themes while selecting the menus. So instead of the regular strawberry or chocolate birthday cake, surprise the celebrant with a spooky goofy cake or can order the ghost shaped or graveyard looking cake from any online store.

Then in the main course some traditional Halloween items like Vampire Punch , Bat Wing Soup ,Jack o' lantern pizza along with the usual birthday treats like Flapjack Party Stack and Apple Salad.

Groovy 18th Birthday Party!

Turning 18 is a BIG deal. Finally you're going to say good bye to teenage hood and you're really an adult. So the best way to celebrate it is to go wild with tie dyed shirts and groovy peace signs. What am I talking about? Have a birthday party that's totally hippie. Celebrate the 60s and "groove" away on love and peace.

Ask your guests to wear tie dyed shirts, decorate the party room or house with bright 60s colors with peace signs all over. Check out 60s Party Ware for your decor and party planning.

And of course what's a birthday party without the music? I suggest you go through your old uncle Nick's or aunt Mary's collection and find a couple of the classics like The Supremes, The Dixie Cups, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Shangri Las, Diana Ross, Peter and Gordon, The Temptations, Rolling Stones, and of course Sonny and Cher! Now you'll have some romantic, some soul, and some music to rock to!

Don't for get to have a groovy time!
